Just tell me why we can’t bring back the past
Please realize that’s been bothering me so
The things we want forever just don’t last
When memories fade, tell me where they go
I’ve lately, been residing in deep space
Now trying to bring light to all that’s dark
Because the past is what I must erase
A brighter future, I yearn to embark

Optimism is the key to clear sight
