The House
Blind to what it becomes,
A different perspective.
Glowing the warmth of the memories inside,
That come along this time of year.
Life brought out,
Dull until lit.
A cover-up of what can become.
Hiding away until the dark casts in.
Careful eye,
Judging anxiously, no patience to see what it can become.
Only house lit on the street,
Filled with secrets which remain untold.
