The climb that changed his life.
The rocky sand kissed my back.
I rolled onto my side and gazed up the hill.
13 days, 312 hours, 18720 minutes.
My body begged for a home cooked meal.
London Broil and mashed potatoes, drowning in gravy.
I gazed up the hill once more, only 2 more hours.
Although my body ached, my eyes admired the scenery.
Stanford wasn't the place for me.
3 tests a day,
6 hours of homework a night.
Snaggle toothed professors,
4 white walls.
A claustrophobic room.
I am much more than that.
I am the clouds reflected in the water.
The ants marching in three’s.
The rocks crumbling at my feet.
The ferocious wind stinging my face.
I am on top of the world, overlooking all.
I am a part of nature.
