A to Z
A to Z
“Ahh!” My dad shouted.
Bennett was blocked.
Can we get a touchdown? I thought to myself.
“Down, first down!” My uncle grunted from his chair.
“Ehh.” I sighed sitting in my seat.
Friday night football was my favorite day of the week.
“GO! GO! GO!” My dad and I screamed simultaneously.
“How much time do we have?” I questioned.
“I can’t read it.” Mumbled my uncle.
“Just under a minute, in the fourth.” My dad answered.
“Kill them!” I screamed.
Lame call by the ref, false start.
Manning sat on the sidelines.
“Nine yards to a touch down and we win.” I realized.
“Offside’s, offensive team, five yard penalty.” The ref declared.
“Please make a play!” Cried my dad.
Quarterback Cutler didn’t know what he was doing.
“Reach for the ball!” I shouted.
S*** out of bounds.
4 yards to go!
“Time out, offensive time.” Ref said.
Ugh only five seconds left to score, or we lose.
Vessels on my dads head were bulging out.
“Wide, the ball’s going wide!” Screamed my uncle.
Xerodermia is what my uncle suffered from.
“YES!” I shouted, leaping.
Zero second left, touch down.
