Rats II
Don’t waste life on those who don’t care
A loud voice in my head, it deemed life is not fair
Another day of lies, my brain could not bear
They said they would be there for holding my hand
But what is a friend
to leave my life, so unplanned.
They left in a blink and left me no air.
I used to see the potential of us all.
this knife in my gut
I wish you would take.
Dreading the day we split up in the fall.
You really shouldn’t expect me to call.
you seem to find my other half to be fake;
I guess I don’t like you that much,
that’s all.
