A Loved One Lost
Among the horizon, the sweet smell of death lingers
The faint sound of requiem rings in my ear
The elegance of the corpse was tempting to touch
Her sleeping skin was flawless
Her peachy lips look so smooth
I think a kiss will ease my broken heart
Her golden locks are perfectly in place
Her make-up so evenly spread
I stand there so full of sadness
Probably because a creature like me wasn't in her life
