Looked inside this cage
These four walls protect me
Protect me from myself
No color, just white.
It's all...white

Entangled in my straight
I take another taste
Voices whipser inside my head.
"Thorazine!"

You can't hide away
They ignore your suicidal pleas.
You're in here
Because the outside rejects you.
You're just a reject...an outcast.

Lose sight of your life
your nothing but a "Basket Case"
Nightmares haunt your night...
Days turn to months
Months to years..

Forever is a long time they say.
It was more fun in Hell

The author's comments:
I was inspired to write this because I, as well as others I know, have gone through a battle with depression, and even though we were never locked away in a Mental hospital like this...we felt like we belonged there at times.
