Grandfather takes young girl to favorite merry-go-round.
She chooses to ride the pink horse.
Lights dancing and music hypnotizing,
Makes her squeal with delight.
Adolescent buys cigarettes
And chooses the black nail polish.
Life spinning like a merry-go-round
Now makes her scream from six feet under.
Grandfather thinks, "She's changed."
