The last of her drink
Her body slumps
as she sits in her usual chair.
Her blonde silky hair looked a mess
and fell past her breasts.
Smoking her fifth cigarette,
getting her bold red lipstick on it.
Her muddy black eyeliner
smudges all over and around her eyes.
Her cheeks scarred
from the lovers of her past.
White lines mark her wrists like zebra stripes
for she could never forget the harsh words of her dead father.
She downs the last of her drink and
slugs out the door of the bar like she has done many times before.
