When you dig my grave can you make it shallow so that I can feel the rain?

Cold feet are tangled in the sheets. Not wanting to get up. Can't lay here forever. Uncertain what he wants. Such words would never escape lips from the fear of loss. Keep the prisoners. Hold them captive. Actions louder than words. Is there a higher level of loudness? Thoughts push one under.

Drowning, getting deeper into the ocean. No sign of struggling or does blindness deceive? Float with the waves as they crash and pull. Look for a hand. Hope it comes. Don't reach for the bottom. What will be touched? Don't reach for the bottom could be too much. Don't reach for the bottom what if not enough.

Eyes are closed. Do not open. How long a float? How far can one drift? Such a sudden drop and sudden shock. Something is beginning to rip.

Eyes are shut, will not reach. The waves are making it hard to breath. Ripping and tearing her chest away. Screaming seems silent. Scared to feel. Lips are sealed, keep them captive. Is time right? Fear of loss. Hold on tight. I'll lay here forever, with cold feet as long as I can be...
Tangled in his sheets.

Have you ever had feelings and terrified to say it? Afraid of his/her reaction or what he or she might say? Afraid to take the chance to loose everything forever? This is how that makes me feel.
