Far Out, Man
Sometimes it seems as though everything will eventually click into place. We worry every day, every hour, and every second about trivial things, that won’t affect us two days from now. Maybe, just maybe if we sat back and just lived we wouldn’t have stress or worries. We would just be living life. The Hippies a couple generations back had a fascinating philosophy about life: To just chill. We as society are so uptight, always worried about the thoughts and judgments of people who are not thinking of us. We believed if you try and try to fit in, get in, and stay in to the social “norms” our life will be fulfilling. But, if you just sit down, shut up and think about life you would realize it is not where you want it. That you probably don’t do the things you used to enjoy, because you’re too busy trying to meet everyone else’s expectations. What I have learned throughout the years is that everyone including myself needs to take a chill pill. To stop trying to force life into a certain direction, but to sit back and let it take its’ course. As the hippies of the ‘60’s would say, live and let live.
