cigarettes and sleepless nights
crashing waves and water fights
so much time
so much love
bbqs, mosquito bites

summer comes and all is right
sparks fly and fire ignites
I am whole
I am sane
then comes the wind, a dark knight

browning leaves and stripping trees
frost moves in and chills the seas
gone is my warmth
gone with the wind
swept away by autumn breeze

winter comes and I am cold
past examples and the foretold
lazy mornings
lazy nights
happiness is a fool's gold

white blankets and spirits low
whistling winds and winter's crow
eyes once blue
eyes now gray
Now its time to reap what I've sewn

warmer weather and melting hearts
flowers bloom and spring starts
the cold and I will grow apart
only to meet again in one years time

this is about the seasonal depression I've battled for years
