A lonely child
In breaking dawn
Cries unheard;
Still life goes on.
A bullied girl's
Last breath is gone:
A suicide;
But life goes on.
A weed springs up
On someone's lawn,
Someone kills it
And life goes on.
A deer followed
By her young fawn
Is shot and killed;
Still life goes on.
