"Sometimes people are beautiful. Not in looks. Not in what they say. Just in what they are.”

“Don't tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass.”
― Anton Chekhov

“The role of a writer is not to say what we can all say, but what we are unable to say.”
― Anaïs Nin

The garden’s a beauty and all the birds a song.
The stars will be watching us hand in hand with the crescent moon.
We frolic amongst the meadows where twinkly night buds fly.
The sun peaks behind the distance and grants us a special smile.

You laugh and your eyes shine like majestic.
This ode is to you, my umbrella in the pouring rain.
I am smothered by the warm embraces of good company.
I sparkle in your generosity, your kindness and your affection.

Happiness is the small child clinging to its mother leg, gently peeking above the hem of her skirt.
It’s the strong hand that walks you across life obstacles and holds it in the storm.
It’s the memory of simple joys, the smell of spring and the welcoming of summer.

Happiness is the tranquility of serenity, with its perpetual shade of pure.
It's the rain falling on the open sea.
It is the soft blanket of sand, rising up along the shore.
