My Sins
My sins; My sins are the shadows that taunt me everyday. My sins are the faces I see and the voices I hear. They are my nightmares during the day and dreams at night. My sins- My sins have names. They are called depression, desperation, temptation and weakness.
My sins are the shadows that follow me. They were once small but boy have they grown up. My sins are the 15 years of lying, 3 years of shame and 5 years of crying. My sins were once innocent but my oh my have they gotten bold. My sins were the outlets to my fears and false hopes, they were the light at the end of my tunnel. My sins, they are written in black and white; they are stuck to me like glue.
My sins don't define me no, they are my testimonies and inspirations. My sins are lessons learned and mistakes made. My sins do not define me, they reflect me. My sins connect me closer to God.
MY sins are the shadows that taunt me everyday.
My sins are me
