Sweet Lullaby

Sing a long to my lullaby,
Hushed tones of softly sung notes.
Watch as pink fades from your lips;
Your eyes grow grey with anticipation.
Say goodbye to your the dark pink sky;
I've waited since your first cry.
The world is no longer your home.
I've come for my love;
Don't tremble as I hold you close.
Your warmth becomes mine;
As we sing to my lullaby.
