Pretend
The smile you see upon my face
Is fake from cheek to cheek
I breath deeply
Count to ten
And then I pretend
happiness you see
Well I will not be okay
A smile on my face
A scar on my arm
Most invisible
A cut in my soul
You will never see the pain I hide
or the fight not to cry
Inside I die
Yet I live on
Forced to be happy
When truly I am crying
Dying from the pain
All around me there are lies
Ones that were never intended
More that have to be
I lie to breath
Yet breath to lie
I am weak for holding on
Weaker for wishing to let go
There is no where to turn
I will dig deeper, I will hid within myself
