What is distance?
Is it space between two things?
Or is it the measure of miles between
You and the one you love
I can not ever tell
But I am tired of counting the miles
Or seeing that big space, filled with an ocean
Why can you not flow back to me?
Let the cold ocean arms, carry you back to me
Or better yet, let me come to you
Lewis me overcome this very cold and deep pool,
Standing between us
