Snowfalls and coats the ground like a white blanket,
No leaves upon the trees,
The branches hang their bare and naked,
Like a banana without its peel,
I walk home bundled up in layers,
Smashing snow beneath my boots,,
When I breathe fogs escape my lips,
Christmas here and I’m so happy.
