air of enlightenment

I wish I could take you
and give you these wings
for my new found flight
cannot accommodate such masses
and though I have taken to the skylines
I am not weightless
nor abandoning
taking this frightening leap
forgiving and liberating
has blessed me with fluidity
no longer am I haunted by
consummations to be devoutly wished
nor am I plagued decreasing saturation
I once thought my existence to be purely monochromatic
without obtuse and rather rude obtrusions
I can see
perceive
clearly
I only wish I could set you free
