Slowly approaching our destination, the brakes on the bus give off a loud SCREEEEEECH
Curious kids strain their necks to see the crashing waves outside the foggy windows
Sprinting off the bus, we are rewarded with the sensational salty air lathering our skin
Finally, we've arrived at Tybee Island

As we walk as a heard of sheep, the sun suddenly emerges from the cottony clouds
I place my cupped hands above my eyes
Blocking the the sparkling light rays from burning my sensitive emerald green eyes

We stomp our heavy feet while galloping down the rusted brown stairs
Approaching the brown water, the sound of the crashing waves on the shore becomes louder and louder
Pitter-patter of hundreds of feet mixed with screaming and laughter fill my sensitive ears

Oh, could I please just stay on this beautiful, blissful beach forever?

Sadness begins to emerge from inside of me because of the realization we'll be departing soon
I trying to overcome the feeling and just enjoy my last few minutes
Gosh, I really don't want to leave!

Let me stay!
Let me stay!
Let me stay!
