She puts her headphones in
Her world fades away
The music pours over her soul
Wiping away the fears
And the tears.
She dances around the room
Enjoying the rush of joy
The music gave her.
The music leaves the soothing melody
Playing in her head.

The author's comments:
I grew up surround by music and dancing. I have taken dance lessons since I was four, and I love it. I play the piano as well. Music has often been an escape for me, and it has never disappointed me.
