The Boredom Hex
Away with you Boredom
You make me nothing but a dull lapse of existence
I am human
one human
of one planet
of one solar system
of one corner
of one galaxy
of one speck
of all of time and space
forever growing and shrinking
and never staying the same
not even for a moment
With your dull grey sweatpants
And your plain white T-Shirt
That hasn’t been changed in weeks
Your odorless lump that you call a body
That has started to merge with the sofa
that you lie on every day
And yet
boredom, you exist
how is that
when I have so much to run to
yet, you hold me back
make me lie there
closed minded from
everything around me
Nature
The excitement
The world
Everything new and
Everything old
so much to run to
but you stop me
dead in my tracks
and force me to turn back
Away with your Boredom
Leave and never come back
Leave so I can be better without you
Leave so I never again just exist
Leave and free me of your grasp
Just
Leave
