Call me
Crazy
But when you promised me
Forever
Did that not imply a duration long than
A millisecond in
Comparison?
Or do you justify your deceit with the philosophical
Assurance that something ephemeral
(A snapshot of a
Moment)
Is intrinsically internal and that memories
Last forever?
Well I wasn't asking forever in
A moment,
I literally wanted to experience mysterium
Tremendum et fascinans
Every
Day
Because your eyes hold the sunrise, and beauty
Like that
Is only found once in a lifetime;
Call me
Crazy
But I wanted to wake up to that sunrise
For whatever portion of
Forever
That God decided to grant
Us,
But I guess wonderment is only
Breathtaking
If sometimes the skies are
Grey.

Well, i can tell you if you want :P thanks for reading, btw. It meant that sunrises only come for a brief few seconds every day, and the rest of the time the sky is normal. If it were always beautiful, we'd get used to it, but you need grey skies to compare the sunset to. That's what it literally means.... but like, in relationships, you have your ups and downs, and the downs let you appreciate the "ups." :P

I think the only thing that would.ve made this better would be for the ending to be clearer. About the grey sky instead of a sunrise, and explain that a little better so when your done reading you're not wondering what the last line meant, of that poem you really liked.
