She forced herself to
always
Feel
It was
a compulsion
It was
Exhausting
and cotton candy filling
trailed from her sides like
A ghost
She fed its sinewy threads
and sang to them
so they would never dissolve
and it was
Exhausting
and she was
the most intricate
pile of strings
but never
Empty.
