At first it was only one,
One pill a day,
One pill to remember to take
One pill to cope with the pain,
Then it was two,
Two pills a day,
Two pills to remember to take,
One bill to cope with the pain,
Another to hush the voices,
After time passed since that one pill,
2,3,4,5, BAM!
Addiction,
then back to the one,
Well,
After an overdose,
And a trip to the hospital,
One pill a day,
One pill to remember to take
One pill to cope with the pain,
One pill to drive me insane.
