Winters approaching,
The deceiving heavenly look of all white placed on the land of sinners is soon to be.
The time for all the lights to get brighter, the trees have more meaning, and everyone puts an effort into being nice to the in-laws and family members they don't like
A time where everyone gives gifts because that was the tradition they were raised with, not truly knowing what started it
The time for everyone to bundle up in layers upon layers, except for the stubborn teenagers who think its cool to wear shorts and a t-shirt in the middle of a blizzard, (which happens to be me).
A time where people place hot coco out to welcome people instead of lemonade.
We pack away all the tank tops, the shorts, and the swim suits basically packing all hope of summer days
Teenagers dread this time of being stuck in the car with adults who only listen to Christmas music for 2 months straight!
We stay in and eat junk food through the Christmas days only feeling half guilty because you are ruining that carb free diet you've been on since last Christmas
As we say goodbye to summer and the heat and welcome Santa and his elves, we put on are smiling faces and stuff our faces hoping that if we eat fast enough we will get through Christmas
