A girl stands on a windy beach
Face turned to the salty waves
Gasoline on her fingertips
She closes her eyes, a smile on her lips
The ocean tosses like a dark,
Angry monster
The girl is unperturbed; defiant against the storm
Heat building at her spine she turns
The lighthouse glows in red and orange
Ashes singe her hair and face
But still she watches,
With fire in her eyes.
