You and I
They say that if you’ve already
imagined waking up next to him
 limbs tangled and fingers intertwined
then, my dear, you’re already in
 too deep

It’s funny how open I am about
 your beauty; the way your
hair falls in your face and
Your crinkly eyes, the muscles down
your back or the soft curve of your
long legs, but when faced with you
I stumble over my words like a
 newborn deer learning to walk.
Your smile is fear injected into my
fragile veins, you are not the boy
meant for me, but tell me,
Can you feel my fingers burning holes
in your flesh? because my heart is
 aching for You and I.
