Free as my hair
I tend to pull out my hair when I'm nervous
Or when I'm scared, upset, even happy.
Each hair symbolizing pain and despair.
Maybe if I physically remove it from myself
It'll be gone forever, forever. Forever.

I'm as free as my hair.
 The surface is free, but
Each strand of hair is locked on.
 Trapped on. Hooked on.
 Unable to move freely. Dead.
