Conversed Cage
You could find her relishing the sun
And later, she'd carry it in her eyes
She'd pick dandelions and
Make them her crown
But now, she's in a cage
And all I do is
Pull and pry
Then, she looks at me with
Those indistinct eyes
Explaining without any words
The lock is inside
The key is crimson
The cage is white
And she weeps
As I yell out
Broken phrases
Into her own
Conversed cage
