A Day In The Mind of a Distressed Teen
Sometimes I want to run away
Leave behind a horrid day
Lay in a field in a distant land
Or on a beach with golden sand
Throw away the lies and just live
Take off my mask and give
Give up or fade away
Or maybe nit, what will they say
When they see my true colors someday
The screams, the cries
Of our once silent lies that
Shape us all in some way
