A Beautiful Moment
May I have this dance? He asks her.
She slowly gets up from her seat
walking to the open dance floor.
He takes her small, cold, and fragile hand and leads the slow, romantic dance
to the song, “I’ll Be” by Edwin McCain.
While in rhythm with the song,
they spin, bend, turn, and do lifts like no one has ever seen before.
She has the brightest smile on her face, stretching across her face.
Her face lights up like a lamp in a dark room,
Everyone is watching in awe,
as it is such a beautiful dance between them.
As the song is coming to an end,
they stop dancing and stand in the middle of the floor still in their dance position.
They look at one another with exact eye contact
looking in his brown eyes and looking in her green eyes.
She slowly returns to her seat with the same smile on her face before,
remembering the wonderful moment she just experienced.
