Too Punk Rock For That
There isn’t much that bothers me,
But there is one thing I cannot stand.
The stupid pop songs on the radio,
They’re all the same and all too bland.
Like the siren’s song to mere mortals,
They catch one with melodic hooks.
But I am not like the others,
And don’t turn my head to look.
I hear other chords and harmonies,
That lies deep under the ground.
They sing beneath the surface,
With their sweet punk rock sound.
