For You
A life like a gorgeous legacy
The spirit of an owl, quick-witted
 Her bountiful love, unlimited

She did what she loved most
Her garden, her cooking, her artistry
Making her talents as a woven tapestry

Kindness flowed from her like a mountain spring
Her hands would hold you ever so tightly
And her lips would kiss you ever so lightly

 Hummingbirds, Turquoise, and Abalone
 Filled her wardrobe galore
She looked wonderful in purple and more

It seems like everyone has a story
Of how she was fun or graceful or amazing
And even of complimenting her food they were tasting

 A woman of such beauty
 Even in her passing
 A memory, everlasting
