Missing Best Friend
The sorrows of my passed loved ones and friends,
They cloud my mind day by day,
I’m wondering.
What would it be like if you were still here?
What if Kyle, Tiffany and Jordan had survived the accidents?
Would they be married and having kids yet?
Or would the tragedies have happened at a later time?
My thoughts wander a lot on this subject.
Could I still have my childhood best friend, Or would we have parted ways? In highschool when we joined different crowds? or when she moved to a different school to live with her mother.
I still see the evidence of broken hearts from DJ and Elijah.
Some people wear those fake smiles, as days fly by and we still remember you.
We remember each day like you were still here.
I sometimes wonder, Did it hurt? Did they feel pain? Why did it happen?
Time goes by, day by day, the world keeps spinning, the sun keeps shining, and we still say,
It’s not goodbye, its just an I’ll see you later.
