Silhouettes sway
into the blooming shadows
near is the melancholy murmur
of autumn: alive with
passion in the distant haze.
The sky lifts itself
on stilts of narrow starlight,
and the shallow Earth
reigns luminous in the glow.
No strangers tonight.
Yet silence stirs in the wake
of the deep universe: still
as seasons, old and new,
rise and swell
in passing.
