nothing has changed
you inundate my senses and i can't carry their weight
i watch you move like the water
and i can't think straight
there's a voice in my head, humming pay it no mind
but your eyes are a hymn
and they're singing me blind
and i think that you hear me when i swallow your name
i recite it in whispers
but they sound more like trains
and my tongue has a plan when i open my mouth
but it's only debris
when my whole heart spills out
