I wish I didn’t have to
It was the right thing to do
Now we’re not together
Split in two

I said the words that pushed you away
Only so that I could see you another day
Now the tears are all that I have
But I did what was right and that’s ok

Sadly, our time had to come to an end
Our hearts both broken with no time to mend
