Life...
Another early morning,
Forced to drag myself to school,
For the long day ahead,
In a classroom full of fools.
The repetition kills me,
Stuck in a desk all day long,
Education left to chance,
What if all my teachers are wrong?
Parents pile on the pressure,
What college shall you choose?
Young trivial days are long, long gone,
You have everything to lose.
They’ll tell you to join everything,
And be perfect at it all,
But how does one keep that balance,
With friends, fun, sports and school?
I must keep moving forward,
Pushing aside all my doubt,
One day I’ll achieve my dreams,
And everything will work out.
