Hard Times
Why patronize us, tell us that we pale in comparison to the grates, Shakespeare, Mozart, George Washington, when in reality, we are no different, we have done things just as great if not more spectacular or even equal to these so called Greats. Yet you still put us down, and say that we will never amount to nothing, that all well be is the middle class hoodlums, that we will never make it through the day, well just let me say that we are and we have achieved more than you could have ever dreamed because we have more potential than you ever believed we would. You don’t have the right to patronize us, so don’t try, because it won’t work we will be discouraged no more, we will persevere, we will succeed and when we’re standing on that stage with that spotlight on us, we will not put you down we will not fight you, we will focus on the future, but we cannot ever forget the past and neither can you
