Dreams
I stand here
 Watching
 As the cars fly by
As the children play, laugh, and sing and
 Happiness
That's all they see, feel, dream
 Children
 That's all they are
They are to blind to see what's happing
 To you and me
 As we see the sorrow
 And feel the pain
 Yet
 We dream happiness
Who's to say we are not children?
Who's to say we can not play, laugh, or sing?
 We dream
 In color, and light
Because you and me, me and you
 We are children, too.
 So as I stand here
 Watching the cars fly by
 I dream
I dream for you and me
I dream of you and me.
I dream that one day we will all dream
 Of a better place.
Cause the children, do not see
 You and me.
