Tonight
She is my witness,
here,
with pen and paper.
creating,
spilling,
words in the form of tears tonight.
Longing cries,
dancing,
in and out of her glorious beams.
Stars glittering in my tears.
Tonight.
I break my own heart,
beat,
by drumming beat.
Self inflicted.
For each dark shadow passing me by.
I choose and choose you,
my darling dear.
with every hurtful, agonizing tear.
An insomniac's stupor,
the common cure
known by many,
possessed by few.
pondering,
bantering, with the moon.
