Wondering
I stand her wondering, thoughts spinning 'round my head,
About the things that you did, and the words that you said.
They were not profound, funny, or even kind,
Yet I still find them here, trapped in my mind.
It is puzzling how something so simple, so pure,
Can leave me so confused, but yet so sure,
That the reason your words and my thoughts will not part,
Is because they are not in my mind, but instead in my heart
And yet my heart will remain sore,
If I can not ask just two questions more:
What is a moment if not shared by two?
What is my life if not shared with you?
