Kingdom Collapse
Atop a mountain of gravel
our empire stands.
In the center a castle
built upon pillars of sand.
The kings and queens all reside
behind pompous walls,
leaving their subjects to die
as the darkness falls.
The people all fear
in the wake of destruction,
but still the royalists adhere
to their own corruption.
Shattering now, like fragile glass,
crumbling now, the infrastructure,
This castle wasn’t built to last.
Watch now as the system ruptures.
Slowly now, we all fall from grace,
our legacy long since has been misplaced.
This marks the end of the human race.
