Beautiful
Blue eyes stare up at you
Not like sapphire, but like opal
A blue that holds the world inside it
Hair falls in looping curls
A coffee frame about a cream face
But if you tell her that she’s beautiful
She won’t believe you
So you show her
Your eyes like mirrors, you reflect her
In that moment you know her
Through your love, you perfect her
And only when she sees that perfection in your eyes
And knows that she is loved
Does she feel truly beautiful
And it’s beautiful to feel
