Unfocus your eyes from this place called
reality, but don’t get lost in the blur.

Angels hover all around me, their light bodies
intertwining, spindling protective threads
for my heavenly cocoon.

Magic transports my consciousness through
the different dimensions of my spirituality,
taking me higher into the bliss.

However, outside the cocoon lingers pure darkness,
waiting for the opportunity to pierce my
light mold.

In the recesses of my mind escapes one
imprisoned thought - an obscured exile
tarnishing my essence to its core.

Seizing me, the darkness envelopes my being,
plummeting me deeper toward
the neverending void at the bottom.

The sky is falling all around me.
The stars are burning down to nothing.
And I wait, alone amidst the shadows
for the stars to shine again.
