Beside me always,
Piercing through me.
I take in the value.
It takes away the hurt,
shows me the light.
I hear the melody, and rhythm.
The pulse lessens.
Gone.

I wrote this how I did after listening to some of my favorite songs and thought about how I listen to music I used synonyms to talk about turning the music on, how throughout the song I hear the connections to my own life through the lyrics, then the music is off, gone.
