"Blessed are they who see beautiful things in humble places where other people see nothing." ~Camille Pissarro

We used to force feed suffragists
And what they did may have been wrong
Perhaps they never had the right
To throw themselves upon a sword
And toss a pen out to the crowd
But I don't believe in liberty
In a place where we are forced alive

"Long live death!"
They used to scream
I saw it in a painting
Severed head and bloody mouth
"Long live the revolution!"
We kill for what we think is right
We hold the heads of those we hate
Just above the water
