Heart beat quickens
my breathing goes still as he passes me
Eyes connected
he shoots me a smile

The day passes in a blur
muffled, drowned out
as thoughts of him fill my mind

Lunch rolls on
sounds of laughter and chattering
spin through the air
my gaze trapped in daydream
awakened as the land on him
the sight burns

head thrown back
his laughter shaking his body vigorously
almost in tears
she mirrors him
Both recover from their fit
he watches her
shaking out her perfect blonde hair.

My heart breaks as i witness this
as they stare into each other's eyes
i turn away, not wanting to see anymore
"He loves me not"

I will never know
the flower know
will they ever expose their secrets?
